Funerals & Celebration of Life
It is the separate and unique nature of each human life which is the basis of our grief in bereavement. Look through the whole world and there is no one like the one you have lost.
People who are not religious still need ritual and ceremony to mark important occasions, and few rituals are as important as the formal leave-taking of a loved one and the celebration of their life, loves and achievements.
With your input, I can craft and deliver a uniquely personal, simple and sincere ceremony with which to pay fitting tribute to your loved one.

Example structure of a non-religious memorial ceremony:
Introductory music
Words of welcome
Thoughts on life and death from a non-religious perspective
The tribute – an outline of the life and personality of the person who has died
Readings of poetry and prose
Reflection – a few moments for private thoughts about the person who has died, either in silence or accompanied by music
The committal – when the curtains are closed or coffin lowered
Closing words – including thanks on your behalf
Final music

Cost for Funeral or Memorial Ceremony: £200
(Includes planning meeting, writing, tailoring and delivery of ceremony.)
